As we bid farewell to summer there is so much to love about Fall.  New beginnings, beautiful colors, crisp days, and cool nights are  just some of the things I love about Autumn. I love the scrumptious fall fare that nourishes our bodies and help us flourish. The beautiful array of squashes, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, and carrots are just bursting with beta carotene, vitamin A,Vitamin C, plentiful nutrients that offer you vibrant health.  Beets and all of those hearty Cruciferous vegetables like kale, Brussels sprouts, turnips, and broccoli abundant in autumn also offer our bodies bountiful nourishment.

With a new schedule it’s a great time to get back on track and embrace those healthier habits you might have let go of after all that Summer Lovin. To help support you in this endeavor I am offering a 2 week Fall Flourish online program that embraces seasonal fresh foods to reclaim your vitality and help you look and feel fabulous.

Eating nutrient dense flavorful foods will surely help you thrive but this Fall Flourish will also encourage you to look at the ways in which you nourish your body, mind, and spirit.

For example, I wake up each day to a cleansing cup of warm water and lemon followed by a nutritious Green Juice, and then move on to nourishing meals and snacks throughout the day.  I set my own office hours so I fit in yoga, a run on the beach, a dive in the ocean,  or a bike ride  in addition to my daily hats as a Mom, wife, and Nutrition & Lifestyle Coach. I find it is key to make time to enjoy family and friends.

Early darkness ushers me into more of a hibernation mode. I love Fall colors and the crisp air, but that’s my challenge !

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Lee. I can understand how you feel. I miss the light as well when the days get shorter. Are there any indoor activities that you could start? Like an evening yoga class make be a great fit.

I nourish myself by having some lemon water in the morning then doing yoga with my pretty amber twinkle lights on in my sunroom. I follow that by opening the door outside and spend some time giving thanks for another beautiful day. I also make time for my girlfriends – whether it is a quick phone call or a weekend with the girls in the city – I need to connect with my “sisters”. With stresses at work and worries about kids, I can use something more to stay peaceful, so I am starting Deepak’s guided “secrets to meditation” 2 week journey. I have to refocus on Savvy Souls! I also am getting even better with diet. I joined a CSA this summer and really enjoyed the organic produce all summer. Thanks for being part of my journey to discover a healthy lifestyle, Judy. I will start being active in our circle again! Any good speakers coming up?

Hi Judy,
I am so looking forward to making and eating all that nourishing food. I am getting my first social security check next month and I have to say that thanks to your helpful hints and strategies and food tips I feel like im back in my twenties. I have so so much energy I think im giving the energizer bunny a run for his money! Cant wait to c how I will feel after the fall flourish to nourish. 🙂

I look at every new day as a new beginning! I wake up with the right attitude and usually continue through out the day! Then late afternoon and evening set in and I sort of go downhill. However the last 2 weeks I am trying to not eat after 7 and drink all my water. So everyday I wake it’s a new day. Thanks Judy love reading all your posts!

Dear Gina, Thank you so much for sharing. I love how you face each day with a fresh start. I appreciate how you shared how challenging the afternoons & late afternoons can be. I think so many women are in the same boat. YOu just need some effective strategies to close out the day with ease. Drinking an abundance of water and refraining from night snacking are both great places to start. Thanks for your feedback. So happy to hear that you enjoy reading my posts.
