Institute for Integrative Nutrition 2013 Conference

Each year since I graduated, The Institute for Integrative Nutrition offers its alumni an outstanding Nutrition Conference.  It’s a great way to reconnect with graduates, learn from leading wellness, fitness, & marketing experts, and be inspired by some celebrated speakers. The most amazing thing is that they offer us this weekend of enrichment for free.

I just attended this fabulous conference a few weeks ago and felt so well nourished on a personal and  business level has well.  Joshua Rosenthal, Founder of IIN, and his staff design these outstanding conferences  to create connections that inspire us and make an impact on our self growth, self-healing, self-love, and business development.

Once you attend IIN you inherit another family. One that cares about you, your life, and your success. It’s a chance to reconnect with old friends and also make new ones. I wound up sitting next to a women who lives right in my town. We had never met but actually frequent the same yoga studio.

We gather, dance, we sing, do some collective deep breathing, share, listen, and simultaneously give each other a massage.  Sarina Jain taught us her energizing signature Masala Dance and Patricia Moreno taught us showed us her signature IntenSati.

We enjoyed such a fabulous line-up of speakers but my favorite was  Danielle LaPorte. I loved how she showed us who she was at the conference. Her way with words, generosity, and unassuming  presence are so uplifting, refreshing, beautiful, & inspiring.

“Infuse your sensitivities with courage.”~ Danielle LaPorte, author of the Fire Starter Sessions & creator of The Desire Map

Gabrielle Bernstein, author of May Cause Miracles really illuminated the room.“Pay attention to the moments when things go wrong, that is divine intervention. Recognize the signs.”

I really appreciated Dr. Frank Lipman’s heartfelt and passionate presentation on Functional Medicine as he is an expert in the field. It was  so refreshing to hear that he  believes in the essential role of health coaches. “I learned to treat my patients like a gardener.”

Candice Kumai, author of  Cook Yourself Sexy gave an entertaining and engaging cooking demonstration. I loved her term “Food with Benefits.”

It was  refreshing to hear from Congressman Dennis Kucinich and his wife Elizabeth, sustainable food and vegan advocate, who really value spoke the importance of Health Coaches being part of the solution our failing medical system.

I really appreciated the array of marketing practices and tips  presented by an impressive team of  business experts such as Karin Witzig Rozell, Robert Notter, Nisha Moodley, Stacey Morganstern and Carey Peters. Fabienne Frederickson, and Marilena Minucci,

This inspiring weekend inspired me  to offer a free program to all of you. So, I created the Nourish to Flourish 10 Day Virtual Wellness Program for you to spring into health by planting seeds for Vibrant Living.   So won’t you be my guest!

It’s simple when you nourish yourself with real food, life food, and soul food you Flourish.
