Holiday Bliss vs. Holiday Stress

by Judy Griffin on December 12, 2012

So what do you do when you have an enormous Holiday To Do List? Do you move heaven & earth to get it all done? Or do you ease into it and take it one day at a time?
I myself have played it both ways and clearly learned how trying to be Super Woman stressed my system and compromised my health. While  finding the ease brings me bliss that helps me  thrive and enjoy the gifts the holiday season offers. I think is so important to remember that if you focus your energy on rushing through your days you will always be running on empty and feel that time is closing in. On the other hand, if you relax your mind and redirect your focus, time will expand.
Now I haven’t done much Holiday Shopping, my house isn’t decorated, my Christmas Card address file crashed, my vacuum’s broke, and I am immersed in business projects. What do you think I will choose to do today?

Today I plan to get out for a Kangoo Jump Run and enjoy the sunshine. I have learned that when I practice yoga or  work out I release stress and gain more presence in my life.

Mixing in some merry is key. Last night my daughter Kayla, and I met my sister for dinner in NYC and went to see Evita. Making time for friends and family is really the best gift of the season.

Now, do I still get caught up in the Holiday Hustle & Bustle? Yes, of course but maintaining the ease and flowing with the breeze really helps.  That is why I created a Holiday Breeze Guide for you.

This guide offers you nourishing ideas, recipes, survival holiday tips, energy boosters, & stress busters to help you Flourish throughout the holidays and beyond.

When you choose to gain support from my Holiday Breeze by paying what you can  you also have the opportunity to help families’ struggling with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

One of my favorite quotes                                                                                                                          “The work will get done.  It will be done better than work that emerges from tiredness of soul and spirit.  Nurtured, Nourished, people who love themselves and care for themselves are the delight of the universe.  They are Well-timed, Efficient, and Divinely-Led.” Melody Beattie
