Learn to love greens because they nourish each & every cell. A great way to eat more greens is to drink Energizing Green smoothies to revitalize your body with chlorophyll.

* Very nutritious. The 60:40 ratio of fruits to veggies is optimal since the fruit taste dominates the flavor, yet at the same time the green vegetables balance out the sweetness of the fruit.

* Easy to digest and its nutrients are easily assimilated into your body.

* Aids in efficient digestion & elimination. (Key nutrient source in cleanses)

* Daily Consumption nourishes your body with chlorophyll, A molecule of chlorophyll has only one atom that makes it different from a molecule of human blood. According to teachings of Dr. Ann Wigmore, to consume chlorophyll is like receiving a healthy blood transfusion.

* Reduces cravings for salt, fat and refined sugar while promoting balance and weight loss.

* Regular consumption establishes a good habit of eating greens which results in a craving for eating more greens. This revitalizing power booster is addictive!

Basic Green Smoothie Recipe

* 2 cups fresh or frozen fruit (try mixed berries)

* 2 cups greens (try romaine lettuce)

* 2 cups pure water

* Mix in a blender

As you get used to the flavor you can decrease the amount of fruit.

Optional-For extra kick you can add:

  • 1 tbsp  Flax oil, Chia Seeds, Hemp Seeds, Raw Honey, bee pollen, cacao & maca.
  • Add fresh lemon juice or a whole peeled lemon to cut the bitter taste.
  • Add avocado or banana to make creamier

Organic produce is key! I personally love berries mixed with dandelion or Beet Greens (you can mix apples, pears, sprouts, spinach,  chard, lettuce, kale, arugula, cabbage, etc.)
