Word up! What’s your word for 2013?

by Judy Griffin on January 11, 2013

Time with special friends helps you flourish.

Forget about resolutions, choosing a word is an ideal way to create your intention. Want to give it a whirl?

What resonates for you?  What do you crave?  Just choose from your heart.

Everyone that knows me sees that I pack a lot into my day and am challenged with time. Well the truth is I need to slow down. My pattern has been expecting too much from myself and not factoring in adequate rest.  I sometimes feel like I have a supernatural powers  to fit it all in but sooner or later  I crash.  When I break out with a cold sore you know I have been burning the candle at both ends.

Now I  eat really well, love to soothe my soul and nourish my body with yoga, and  enjoy a  great exercise regime  but   I compromise my well-being by pushing myself to hard. Busy is easy for me resting isn’t.

It’s time for  change!  Just  being more aware of my breath alone will lend a hand. Breathing exercises and daily meditation will propel me forward,  improve time management,  and  help me enjoy the present moment. This is my path to weave in the harmony I crave so I can really flourish.

“When we practice being Present, the entire trip is filled with fragrant flowers.”~John Halcyon Styn

Great post! It is so important to know when to slow down and just “breath”. My words for 2013 are balance, focus and consistency of actions. I would like to master these and create abundance of health and prosperity in 2013 for me and my family.
